As part of its ongoing adult ballet education programming, Texas Ballet
Theater offers young professionals a unique year-long program, Texas Ballet Theater Leadership
Ballet, which offers participants a once-a-month glimpse into the world of
professional ballet while developing trustees for the Company’s future. Individuals
from the business and arts community representing a diverse range of local
companies and organizations will be selected to comprise the Leadership Ballet
class. Class members get the opportunity to learn more about
the art of ballet, and, more specifically, the artistry of Texas Ballet Theater.
Each season, Class members select one or two class projects, utilizing their
professional skills and connections to assist the Ballet while gaining valuable
insight into the behind-the-scenes workings of the Ballet.
All selected Texas Ballet Theater Leadership Ballet participants
receive tickets for each of Texas Ballet Theater’s Season
productions. This program furthers the mission of Texas Ballet Theater
by identifying potential leaders for the organization in the seasons to come.
